In a presentation in Dublin, Ireland in March 2010, Google sales chief Jim Haley stated that desktops would be irrelevant in three years (SiliconRepublic.com). Smartphones, notebooks, and the amount of information available online will converge to create a different kind of future than what we’ve known, according to Haley. Do you agree? Why or why not? What impact would that have on the types of hardware and software that are the most in demand? __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Yes i do agree! The amount of devices that have computer capabilities is advancing. Look at what has happened in the past decade. I remember my fathers Motorola cell phone was huge and bulky. the only thing it was use for was to call people with and nothing else. The phone had a green screen that you can only dial numbers on. Now 15 years later we have cell phones that read e-mails, send and receive text messages, go on the internet, watch t.v. or videos, and now they have cell phone with computer processing chips inside of them. Tablets they have the same capabilities as cell phone tablets don't call people. Or can they??? Now they have both.... which is the Samsung Galaxy note. _______http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/samsung-galaxy-note-carbon/4505-6452_7-35117983.html_______. It's basically a big cellphone. Also what about the Google Goggles.__________http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CGoQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fsciencetech%2Farticle-2125139%2FGoogle-Project-Glass-video-Glasses-layer-Maps-email-web-searches-OVER-view-world.html&ei=ir3KT_GQF4WT6gGhkLXrDw&usg=AFQjCNGivD2NHVL01MQt4Vzauw_gv91BVQ______________. The glasses that have cellphone capabilities to take pictures, videos, and call on command. New technology for the tech savvy future. Copy and paste the addresses i have posted to learn more about these devices.
